SmartHub

All News

Starting May 4, 2026, ECE is updating how we share outage information to provide faster, more accurate updates for members.

  • Because our service area is large and outages can vary by location, Facebook posts can cause confusion when multiple outages were happening at once.
  • While outage notifications have always been available through SmartHub, we are now emphasizing it as the primary way to receive updates, since it’s tied directly to your account and provides real-time, location-specific information.
  • This means less guessing, fewer delays, and clearer communication when it matters most. Facebook will still be used for major, widespread outages, but for day-to-day updates, SmartHub is the best and most reliable source.
  • To get started, log in to SmartHub and turn on notifications under Settings > Manage Notifications > Service.

With SmartHub, the power of data is in your hands! SmartHub is a free mobile and online account management tool that delivers accurate, timely account information and allows you to make payments with the touch of a button. Set up a SmartHub account today!

With SmartHub you can:

  • Pay your electric and fiber bills

  • Contact us

  • Report an outage

  • Check your electric use

  • Receive alerts

  • Keep up with ECE news and events

  • Sign up for Auto Pay and/or paperless billing
