ROCKY ROAD BROWNIES

1 c. butter
4 squares (1 oz. each) unsweetened chocolate
2 c. sugar
4 eggs
1 ½ c. flour
2 tsp. vanilla

Frosting
¼ c. butter
1 (3 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
1 square (1 oz.) unsweetened chocolate
¼ c. milk
2 ¾ c. powdered sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
2 c. miniature marshmallows
1 c. salted peanuts

Preheat oven to 350°. In 3-quart saucepan combine 1 cup butter and 4 squares chocolate; cook over medium heat, stirring constantly until melted. Stir in sugar, flour, eggs and 2 tsp. vanilla, until well mixed; spread in greased 9x13-inch pan. Bake 20-25 minutes or until brownies start to pull away from sides of pan.

Frosting
In 2-quart saucepan combine ¼ c. butter, cream cheese, 1 square chocolate, and milk; cook over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until melted. Remove from heat, stir in powdered sugar and 1 tsp. vanilla. Stir in marshmallows and peanuts. Immediately spread over hot brownies. Cool completely, cut into bars.
