Operation Round Up grant helps fund new playground equipment

A colorful new playground was recently installed at the community park in Gilman, MN, providing a safe, fun experience for families with children.

An ECE Operation Round Up® (ORU) grant of $2,000 helped the Gilman Park and Recreation Association raise funds to replace outdated equipment with the new play system. Gilmanton Township provided most of the funding. Contributions also came from Benton Telecommunications Foundation and the Gilman Park and Rec. Association.

ECE members contribute to the charitable ORU Trust when they volunteer to have their monthly electric bill rounded up to the next dollar. Learn more about Operation Round Up.
