October 2018 Grants

The Operation Round Up Trust Board met on October 22 and awarded the following grants:

Community Service

Dalbo Fire Department: $5,000 to help purchase a specialized extractor washer and dryer to properly clean turnout gear.

Drift Dodgers, South Range, WI$2,000 to help purchase a trail drag, allowing the club to provide easier access to trails for local and out-of-town guests.

Isanti County Sheriff's Office Triad Program: $1,000 to help purchase winter survival emergency kits for senior citizens.

Let's go Fishing East Central Minnesota, North Branch: $5,000 to help purchase a new pontoon and boat lift.

Community Service award total: $13,000


Education and Youth

Braham Area Schools Supermileage: $2,700 to purchase electric motor controller parts for a street legal electric competition car.

Cambridge Isanti Hockey Association:  $3,000 to help purchase two outdoor scoreboards so the outdoor rinks can be used to their full potential.

Kinship Youth Mentoring of Princeton: $1,000 to help fund group activities and outings.

Lakes Center for Youth and Families, Forest Lake: $1,375 to provide healthy snacks for after-school participants in Youth First Club.

Northern Star Vaulting, Harris: $2,000 toward the purchase of electronic barrel and mats to support growth.

Education and Youth award total: $10,075
