January 2020 Grants

The Operation Round Up Trust Board met January 20 and awarded grants totaling $18,268 for the first quarter of 2020.

COMMUNITY SERVICE
Alice Studt Library, Braham, MN:
$1,918 to assist with the purchase of new library computers.  

City of Braham, MN:
$2,000 to help purchase driver feedback signs.

City of Princeton, MN:
$2,000 to assist with Riebe Park interpretive signs.

Community service award total: $5,918

 

EDUCATION AND YOUTH
Cambridge-Isanti Competitive Baseball, Cambridge, MN:
$1,650 to help purchase gear.

Flight Expo, Inc., Princeton, MN:
$2,200 to assist with the purchase of an ADS-B transmitter.

Friends of the Cambridge Public Library, Cambridge, MN:
$1,000 to assist with the purchase of incentives for children.

Hinckley-Finlayson Food for Kids, Hinckley, MN:
$2,000 for supplies for the backpack food program.

Lions District 5M8, Zimmerman, MN:
$1,000 to purchase sunglasses for the KidSight USA program.

Pokegama Lake Association of Pine County, Pine City, MN:
$1,000 to assist with the expenses of hosting the Freshwater Fair educational opportunity for students.

Princeton Senior Party, Princeton, MN:
$1,000 to assist with the purchase of prizes and gifts for the outgoing senior class.

Education and youth award total: $9,850

 

EMERGENCY ASSISTANCE

The Salvation Army, Roseville, MN:
$2,500 to fund member utility bills through the HeatShare Program.

Emergency assistance award total: $2,500
