Chocolate Earthquake Cake

1 box German chocolate cake mix
1 c. coconut
1 c. chopped walnuts
½ c. butter
1 tsp. vanilla
¾ c. chocolate chips
1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
2 c. powdered sugar

Preparation Instructions:

Preheat oven to 350°. Sprinkle coconut and nuts on bottom of greased 9x13-inch pan. In a bowl mix cake mix according to package directions. Pour over nuts and coconut. Melt butter, add with cream cheese, powdered sugar and vanilla to a medium-sized bowl and mix well. Spoon over cake batter and top with chocolate chips. Bake for 50-55 minutes or until done.
