The Operation Round Up Trust Board met on April 22 and awarded grants totaling $29,583 for the second quarter of 2019.
COMMUNITY SERVICE
Cambridge Medical Center Foundation, Cambridge, MN:
$2,500 to help fund travel expenses for mental health patients to and from the medical center.
Chisago County Ag Society, Rush City, MN:
$2,200 to replace aging and unsafe picnic tables.
Catholic Charities of the Diocese, St. Cloud, MN:
$693 to help purchase equipment for Meals on Wheels program.
Gilman Park and Rec, Oak Park, MN:
$4,000 to help cover the costs to replace heaving concrete around the park shelter and pavilion.
Mille Lacs County Operation Community Connect, Milaca, MN:
$2,000 to purchase winter boots for children.
Parkland Volunteer Fire, South Range, WI:
$2,470 to purchase five personal CO detectors for emergency responders and a four-gas detector to carry on the fire engine for multiple fire departments to use.
Rhine Lake Retreat, Finlayson, MN:
$5,000 to help with construction and materials cost for picnic shelter replacement.
Sandstone TreeHouse, Sandstone, MN:
$5,000 to help with transportation cost, facility expenses, and meals for at risk teens in support groups.

Ogilvie Community Education Post Prom Committee, Ogilvie, MN:
$1,000 to help cover expenses for post-prom activities.
Superior Area Lacrosse, Superior, WI:
$1,500 to help cover the purchase of additional nets.
