Apple Dumplings

Ingredients:

2 large apples
2 sticks margarine
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 ¼ c. sugar
1 T. flour
2 (8 count) cans crescent rolls
1 (12 oz.) can Mountain Dew® soda

Preparation Instructions:

Preheat oven to 350°. Have ready an ungreased 9x13 inch pan. Core apples, do not peel. Cut each into 8 slices. Melt margarine, add cinnamon, sugar and mix. Add flour. Open rolls, separate. Place an apple slice on each roll. Roll up with tip end on top. Put all apple rolls in pan. Pour margarine mixture over rolls. Pour Mountain Dew over the rolls. Put in oven, bake at 350° for 40 minutes or until apples test done with knife. Serve warm with ice cream.
