6 to 6 1/2 cups flour 2 cups hot water 1/2 cup sugar 2 tsp salt 2 pkgs dry yeast 1/2 cup butter 1 egg |

Preparation Intructions:

Beat 2 1/2 cups flour, sugar, salt, yeast and butter with 2 cups hot water. Add egg and beat two minutes. Mix in the remaining flour. Knead. Put in greased bowl to rise until doubled. Punch down. At this point the dough can be put in the refrigerator for up to five days, or you may shape them into dinner rolls immediately and let rise.
