| Notice of Step Stool Recall |

The attendance gift, which members received after
leaving the business meeting, has been recalled by
the manufacturer.
The step stool passed pre-sale load limit tests (up to 300 lbs). However, after ECE distributed the stools, additional safety impact tests performed by the manufacturer revealed that some stools could sustain damage if used improperly. We ask that members voluntarily bring their step stool to one of the ECE Service Centers listed below by August 1, 2012. We will gladly exchange it for a $15 energy credit. No energy credits will be given without the return of the step stool. If members are unable to bring the stool to a service center, call us at 1-800-254-7944, and we will provide a means of shipping the stool to us. We apologize for this recall. Our intent is always to strive for the highest degree of safety in all that we do. |
