A little change went a long way in 2011
Your money stays close to
home when you participate in ECE's Operation Round
Up® (ORU), and for a donation of less than $1 per
month, giving doesn't get more affordable.
In 2011, the Dalbo Fire Department received a $5,620
ORU grant to help convert its radio equipment to 800
MHz. Mille Lacs Health System in Onamia, MN received
$3,000 toward the purchase of a bedside ultrasound
machine. Just Kids Dental in Superior, WI received
$1,196 to help purchase lights for its in-school
dental care program, and Soup for the Soul in Mora,
MN was able to purchase a commercial refrigerator
with help from a $4,000 grant.
These are just a few examples of the many needs the
ORU Trust helped meet with the $96,689 distributed
in 2011. Below is the complete list of 2011 grant
