Wellness walk/run raises $300 for Caring Members

 

Staff from Braham Area Schools dedicate a spring wellness walk/run to ECE Caring Members program, raising $300 to help struggling local families with their utility bills. With ECE's matching contribution, the total donated to the program was $600. "We thought it was a great choice, being that it may directly impact some of the families whose children attend Braham schools," said Judy Bendickson, chair for the District 314 wellness committee. Judy, left, recently presented the check to ECE Customer Service Manager Teresa Hasbrook. Local Community Action Agencies distribute the funds. ECE members and others may contribute to Caring Members at any time, or members may choose to add a contribution to their monthly bill.
